Designed with sapphire crystal at its baseplate – able to support the manual winding tourbillon movement – Richard Mille allows ample light to pass through the calibre RM56-01, presenting hours and minutes, power-reserve and torque at 11 o’clock and 2 o’clock respectively, alongside a function selector indicator at 4 o’clock. To attain extreme transparency in a titanium movement, engineers also utilized sapphire crystal for the central bridge and third wheel.
