We have always had a great love of flying, and we set out to create a watch that was as complex and comprehensive as possible to fit the needs of aircraft pilots. The RM 039 Tourbillon model took us at least seven years of development—four years longer than expected—giving us the opportunity to make improvements in terms of its functions. A fully automated version of this model follows much of the same intricate design as its predecessor.
The movement of the RM39-01 is made to mimic that of an aircraft navigation instrument. This complex and highly sophisticated watch pays homage to a tool that is crucial to any experienced pilot—the E6-B slide rule.
