In 2012, the RM 050 Felipe Massa was unveiled. This new movement takes all of the best elements from its predecessor, the RM 008, and adds to them with advanced features, making it superior in every way.
To achieve the RM 050, the engineers at Richard Mille pushed the boundaries of existing technology and explored every possible way to reduce movement weight by 20%, or 10 grams. The result was an astounding 9.5 gram final weight.
