A remarkable feat of technical complexity, the RM 008-V1 brings together a tourbillon and split-second mechanism in one mechanical caliber.
It took five years and thousands of hours to create the RM 008-V1, a watch comprising of more than 500 individual pieces and built on a grade 5 titanium baseplate.
After 40 years, the RM 008-V1 was the first new design of split seconds tourbillon chronograph created in 2003. Its innovative movement geometry allowed for every functional section to be independently optimised with lateral communication between the independent horological 'units.'
